Physical Education is part of the Alberta Education (Canadian) Curriculum at every grade, and our Athletics Programme builds on it with competitive inter-school sport. U15 and U19 squads compete in football and basketball, with badminton, swimming and physical education rounding out the programme across the school year.

Coaching is led by our PE staff and Athletics Director, with fixtures arranged across Abu Dhabi schools, giving students at every level a chance to represent Maplewood Canadian International School.

Why choose our Athletics programme

Sport at Maplewood Canadian International School runs on two tracks: physical education for every student, and competitive squads for those who want to represent the school.
