Our Elementary programme, Grades 1 to 6, is designed to help children grow more curious, confident and independent in a supportive, well-structured environment. Following the Alberta Education (Canadian) Curriculum, we develop both academic skills and essential life values. Each day covers English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education and Fine Arts, alongside Arabic, Islamic Studies, Moral Education and UAE Social Studies as required by ADEK.

But a Maplewood Canadian International School education is about far more than academics, it is about shaping character. Our Canadian-certified teachers actively teach respect, responsibility, patience and teamwork, making the programme a meaningful part of your child's overall growth. As students progress through the Alberta grade levels, they learn the value of goal-setting, effort and perseverance, gaining a real sense of accomplishment at every milestone.

Why choose our Elementary school programme

Grades 1 to 6 are where habits form. The Alberta programme gives children the skills, and our teachers give them reasons to use them.
