Culture
Helping students celebrate and preserve the Arabic language, Emirati heritage, traditions, and cultural identity.
At Maple Wood Canadian International School, National Identity is an important part of how our students learn, grow, and build a meaningful connection with the UAE’s heritage, culture, and values.
In partnership with Schoolvoice, powered by E7 Group, we are introducing the National Identity Challenge, an engaging, year-round initiative that builds on our school’s ongoing efforts, supports our alignment with the National Identity Mark, and encourages students to take pride in their identity while practising the values of responsible citizenship.
Throughout the year, students take part in engaging activities and challenges that help them learn, contribute, and put National Identity into practice.
As they progress, they earn points and badges and receive recognition for their achievements. Their accomplishments are celebrated across the school community through digital badges, rewards and recognition, school leaderboards and display screens, and by being recognised as positive role models for their peers.

Encouraging students to demonstrate respect, empathy, responsibility, and positive character through their everyday choices and actions.
Inspiring students to contribute positively to their community through belonging, volunteering, environmental responsibility, and active citizenship.
Parents are an important part of every student’s National Identity journey. Through the Schoolvoice app, they can follow their child’s progress, celebrate their achievements, and encourage them every step of the way.
Schoolvoice is a parent engagement platform that helps schools strengthen communication, increase parental involvement, encourage positive student behavior, and support schools in embedding National Identity across everyday school experiences.
