Maplewood opened its doors for the 2026-2027 school year on 31 August 2026. The smiles, the reunions and the first-day excitement had the school buzzing again from the moment the first families arrived.

A warm welcome

Our reception was dressed for the occasion with a balloon arch and a bright Welcome Back to School display, and staff were at the entrance to greet students and families as they came in.

First days for our youngest learners

For some of our students it was the very first day of school. Our Preschool and Kindergarten classrooms were ready with hands-on play, from small-world play tables to classroom learning corners, to help the newest members of the Maplewood family settle in.

Maplewood Superstars

At the entrance, our Maplewood Superstars photo frames are waiting for students, parents and families to step in, strike a pose and take a picture. The frame says it best: back to school mode on, new fit, same goals, bigger dreams.

The year ahead

Here is to new friendships, new discoveries, big dreams and plenty of memories in the year ahead. Welcome back, Maplewood.
