A voice for every student
A student council gives students a real say in school life. Its members listen to their classmates, bring ideas forward and help turn them into action.
The roles on this year’s council show how far that work reaches: an events coordinator, a sports representative, a marketing role and two representatives for our graduating class, alongside the president, vice-president, secretary and treasurer.
Leadership in practice
Serving on the council is a chance to practise the values that shape life at Maplewood, among them teamwork, respect and accountability, and to learn what it means to represent others.
This year’s School President already knows about teamwork: Kareem Bilal was part of Team Barq, which qualified for the 2026 STEAM Racing National Finals in Abu Dhabi.
Congratulations to every member of the council. We look forward to seeing what they achieve together this year.
